Dinner with Wine Pairings

Bacio Trattoria is launching a new menu and Wine Journeys is happy to help them to introduce it to you with our Italy Meets Peru Dinner!

You need a fantastic dining experience to chase the post Holiday Season blahs!  So, welcome January with fabulous dinner fusing the best of Italian and Peruvian cuisine.   It’s an evening of wine and food you don’t want to miss!

For your dining pleasure, Chef William from Bacio will showcase the best that Italy and Peru have to offer and Trent from Wine Journeys has wonderful wines to pair with it to make the evening a symphony of flavours.  And we have given you a bill of fare with choices to suit your taste.

Just remember, since you have choices, please make sure that you click on your menu selections when you order your tickets for each guest (each click records the item on your ticket). This ticketing system is brand new and, unfortunately, has one bug that we know about.  When you select your number of tickets, the “Get Tickets” Button seems to disappear.  However, if you move the cursor below the ticket number selection area, it will reappear when the cursor hits it.  If you have any other problems, direct message us or email us (itrent.mayers@gmail.com) to let us know.

• Beef & Mozzarella Suppli with Huancaina Sauce  – Bacio’s favourite rice ball appetizer with cheese sauce with a hint of pepper   OR

• Tagliatelle Verde – Pasta served with Peruvian Pesto

Secondo (served with potato and vegetable)

• Pollo alla Parrilla – Grilled chicken infused with Peruvian spices and herbs  OR
• Grilled 8 oz. Ribeye de Aji Criolo – Panca pepper marinated beef served with a Peruvian Chimi/Salsa  OR
• Berenjenas a la Parmesana – Eggplant parmigiana with Piri Piri Sauce and Burratina
