Grillo is an indigenous Sicilian grape that used to be used almost exclusively in the blend to make the much more famous fortified wine, Marsala. However, it makes a very appealing dry white table wine as well. The aromas of lemon and peach are supported by tropical fruit, minerals and a little mango on the palate. Serve it with before dinner apps, seafood, or creamy burrata cheese. A Wine Journeys recommended pour for Mom this weekend!
